A STEP OF FAITH

20170512_130734

Between passion and boredom

Love, anger, pain and relief

Between happiness and sadness

A feeling of nothingness

From body to soul her nakedness is exposed

A transparency that takes her to where she’s never been

She is turned to plain glass,;she soul is laid bare

And she knows that she is  truly, truly lucky

Because she has  been endowed with a special gift

From back to front, head to toe

Through all the invisible nooks and crannies of her universe

Sitting in silence, the world comes to a stand still

A calm assuring wind blows

Baby, take a step forward

Take a step into the unknown

Take a step into the uncertain

The something that you cannot yet see

And when she wakes up

Even though everything stands exactly as it was the previous day

She know that her life will never be the same again

Margaret Eden Kanza is the president’s only daughter. Known for her stubbornness and controversial ways, Margaret has become very unpopular with the country’s most senior politicians and upper society due to her incessant habit of supporting ‘untraditional’ causes and constantly ‘poking her nose where she’s not supposed to’. Following an unsuccessful attempt to murder her, Margaret discovers that she has two choices: fight or flight. Unsurprisingly, Margaret chooses to fight but is she ready to face the truth regarding the real reasons behind the plot to assassinate her as well as the true identity of the person who is trying to kill her?
